Mandi: Journey Home is a heartfelt children’s story that follows Mandi, a young quokka who does not quite follow the rules. 
 
One night, Mandi’s life takes an unexpected turn when he is swept away by a river current and finds himself drifting across the vast sea. Along the way, he encounters a playful dolphin, a delicate seahorse, and a wise turtle — all caught in a tangle of human-made debris. With his bravery and compassion, Mandi rescues his new friends, and together, they form a colourful team to find his way back home.
 
Inspired by the unique wildlife of Rottnest Island and the rich cultural significance of the Noongar people, Mandi: Journey Home celebrates the beauty of Australia while encouraging young readers to dream big, help others, and protect our natural world.
